How we handle the data you share with us when using the site or requesting an invitation to the Summit.

1. Who we are.

The site latambrandprotection.com is jointly operated by Pulpou and the Istituto di Centromarca per la lotta alla contraffazione (INDICAM). For any question about how we process your data, please reach out at hola@latambrandprotection.com.

2. Data we collect.

When you complete the invitation request form: first name, last name, work email, company, role, country, industry, area of responsibility, and optional comments.

When you browse the site: IP address, device and browser identifiers, traffic parameters (UTMs, click IDs such as gclid or fbclid), referrer URL, and aggregated usage data through Google Analytics 4 and the Cloudflare Turnstile technical cookies.

3. How we use the data.

To assess your invitation request, coordinate the convening with INDICAM, and communicate with you about the event.

To measure site performance, attribute traffic to marketing campaigns, and improve the experience.

4. Legal basis.

Processing is based on your consent given when submitting the form, on our legitimate interest in operating the site and communicating with you about the event, and on compliance with applicable legal obligations.

5. Retention.

We retain your data for as long as the relationship arising from your request is active and, afterwards, for the time required to comply with legal obligations or address claims. You may request deletion at any time.

6. Sharing.

With INDICAM as joint organizer of the Summit and with technology providers contracted to operate the site: Firebase Hosting (Google), n8n, Airtable, Cloudflare, and Google Analytics. Each one processes data under its own policies and exclusively for the purposes stated here.

We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for advertising purposes.

7. Your rights.

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, request its deletion, object to its processing, or request portability. To exercise these rights, write to hola@latambrandprotection.com.

8. Cookies.

We use technical cookies required for the site to operate (including the Cloudflare Turnstile captcha) and analytics cookies for statistical purposes. You can manage them through your browser settings.

9. Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The last update date appears at the top of this document.
